New Build

Situated on the picturesque banks of the River Murray, this stunning new build received a special mention in the HIA Building Awards. It took just ten months for Kentdale Homes to complete this dream ‘shack’ on budget and ready for our excited clients to move in.

Due to council regulations for possible flooding, Caurnamont was built on an elevated Duragal steel floor frame system. Supaloc steel framing was used for the structural construction, in conjunction with impressive curved custom-made steel for the balcony. The framing was clad with a rendered Hebel veneer featuring custom orb corrugated panels.

No expense was spared on the internal fit-out of this shack, with quality fixtures used throughout. The clients wanted to create a modern and relaxed feel for their family to enjoy during their weekends away.

The views across the river and the hills beyond are brought into the living area through the black powder coated aluminium stacker doors, which open up the home to the enormous Modwood deck, providing a breathtaking indoor/outdoor living space. The striking custom-made powder coated balustrade with stainless steel wire rope and the commanding façade earns this shack to be one of the most impressive along this stretch of the river.
